The Bailey Team Commercial Division
Formed in 2004, The Bailey Team's commercial division continues to expand and grow, as indicated by our 2009 YTD and 2008 year-end sales and leasing numbers. In 2009, we sold and closed $12,150,612 in commercial real estate and handled leases valued at $3,167.855, representing 17 sales and 34 lease transactions. Through hard work, marketing, accessibility, and diligence, we have sold 60% of our own sales listings and leased 65% of our own lease listings.
In 2008, we sold and closed over $10.5 million worth of commercial real estate, and handled leases valued at over $6.5 million, representing 34 buyers and sellers, and 37 landlords and tenants. We sold 24% of our own sales listings and leased 67% of our own lease listings in 2008.

Gayle Bailey has extensive experience in the commercial real estate market, having represented clients in sales, leasing and development over the past 37 years, as well as with property management of multifamily, industrial, retail, flex and office properties. As an active real estate developer, he has been involved in the direct development of projects and in a consulting capacity with individuals and companies in several markets across the country. He is knowledgeable of all aspects of commercial land procurement, development and construction. Gayle has been a senior level instructor for classes in contract negotiations and marketing for the National Association of Realtors®, and has also taught classes for state Realtor® associations on tax deferred exchanges. He is on the Board of Directors for Leadership Fairfax Inc (LFI), and a member of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, Prince William County Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce, BNI, and Dulles South Business Alliance. Peggy Duffy brings much experience to the commercial sector of the business. In addition to sharing responsibility for the Colonels Ridge and Pleasant Valley Road office condominium projects, Peggy's list of clients includes business owners and principals in need of retail, restaurant, office and warehouse/flex space. She also works with clients to market properties for sale and for lease, including Fosters Management and Winterham Development in Haymarket, and RJM Properties in Springfield and Manassas. Peggy managed the sale and leasing of the retail space for the project for the Piedmont Commercial Center project in Gainesville, as well as current new construction offerings at Colonels Ridge. Having started her real estate career over 6 years ago in the residential market, she understands customer service. She is not your typical commercial agent. In addition to being easily accessible and knowledgeable, she understands the demands of running a business and makes herself available to clients to accommodate their hectic schedules. She is a member of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, Prince William County Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce, BNI, and Dulles South Business Alliance, and working toward her CCIM designation.
